D Day

At 0900 hours, the invasion commences.

The massed invasion force, transported in a variety of motor vehicles, all heavily laden with their occupants and equipment, keeps up the kind of steady, purposeful and inevitable flow that only military logistics can organise.

Where yesterday there was a pristine area of neatly raked gravel, there is now a hive of industry as the invaders manouevre heavy equipment in a strange ballet.

No. It’s not World War 3. Far from it.

It’s just 1st March, we have re-opened for the season, and our customers have returned.

Memo to all staff: take a deep breath, and brace yourself!
